ESTA Renewal Reminder: Is Your US Travel Authorization Expiring?

An approved ESTA is valid for two years from the date it is issued, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. If yours expires mid-trip, you will not be allowed to board your flight home — let alone fly to the United States.

• Check the date: Find your ESTA number and expiry in your email confirmation.
• Passport changes: A new passport number invalidates an existing ESTA immediately.
• Renew early: Apply at least 72 hours before departure. Most approvals arrive within minutes, but delays are common.
